The solution for your battery storage
The smart battery safe
Welcome to Seefion
Increased fire safety for your organization
Lithium-ion batteries are indispensable for many organizations. Companies with multiple lithium-ion batteries in the building run an increased risk of fire and even explosion. When the batteries are stored in a Seefion safe, this risk is minimized!
The Seefion safe was the first and only one to be tested by the renowned German test institute MPA Dresden and keeps any battery fires and explosions inside the safe. This way you prevent damage to your property.
The Seefion safe was the first to be tested for Lithium Ion fire and the overpressure that is released
Hazardous substances cabinets explosion test
A hazardous substances cabinets
is not a Lithium-Ion safe
Many suppliers have converted their PGS 15 compliant hazardous substances cabinets into a “Lithium-Ion cabinet”. In general, it complies with the concepts PGS 37-2, but do not take into account the overpressure of a Lithium Ion battery. Lacont, https://www.lacont.de, has therefore done a test with their own hazardous substance cabinet to show that it is not sufficient.

“The Seefion safes can also be adapted to changing situations after installation. If the work changes, back battery packs may no longer be needed at that specific location and Seefion can then convert the safe. In addition, Seefion’s director Remco van Kuilenburg has has a great deal of knowledge of the application and the market. He knows the standards like no other and is in constant dialogue with insurers and test institutes. That creates confidence!”

The wishes of this customer
The Management and Maintenance department within the Municipality of Apeldoorn is committed to keeping the public space clean, intact and safe. On a daily basis they work here with about 75 different battery tools. The Municipality of Apeldoorn was therefore looking for a functional solution to store these tools. Following an exercise with the fire service, it was found that the battery storage method used at the time was not safe. The biggest wish was therefore to be able to store the batteries safely.
